Natural Men’s Care: The Basics

Natural Men’s Care: The Basics

If you are a man who hates seeing your gender portrayed as a mindless sheep on national ad campaigns, as someone who doesn’t have enough brains to figure out what you want to do with your own personal care, then keep reading. This is only for you.

You can’t walk  past a magazine rack or read this month’s Men’s Health without seeing the latest science and most recent men’s product designed to help with male pattern baldness/wrinkles/shaving cream/aftershave/ and whatever can make you smell good without smelling like a floral shop.

Man smelling cologneYou’re probably already using deodorant, cologne, body spray, and some assortment of shaving products, all available on the shelves of your big box retailer, all pitched  as the perfect solution for  every man. But are they? Are the various chemicals and fillers perfect for YOUR skin care? Do you need what your neighbor/friend/co-worker needs?  Doubtful.  And since when did you become just another number, part of the faceless  masses? Commercial products are designed for the largest number of people and to make them try to work for the largest number of people.

Making your own personal care products can be done easily and quickly and it is so satisfying and rewarding. You can create skin care products to suit you and you alone. You can meet the specific and individual needs of your skin, your beard, your feet, or anything else you so desire. By using essential oils, you can customize the scent to be what you want, when you want it.

This is the beginning of the Natural Men’s Care articles. The first ones to come after this will be on shaving creams and aftershaves. We also have one on dandruff, the bane of all existence. The rest will be linked on here and to each other as they are published. So keep an eye out so you can see them as they come.
