Natural Men’s Care: Feet

There are very few things that can kill the mood quicker than smelly, gross, crusty feet. Best turn off ever when you take those shoes and socks off and the smell permeates the room, crawling into the nose of your Man scratching footsignificant other and you watch as they turn away and suddenly remember that appointment they had to get to. Yep. Let’s do something about that.

Using essential oils and other natural products are the best because the essential oils help give you long term results that are going to help create a better smell from your feet rather than cover it up.

Best oils

Tea Tree, Melaleuca, Eucalyptus radiata, Eucalyptus globulus, Lavender, Sandalwood, Bay Rum, Red Mandarin, Patchouli, Black Cumin, Cypress, Myrtle, Rosemary,  Lemongrass, Myrrh, spices, citrus, and woods.

Points of interest

  • In a lot of cases, you can really use whatever essential oil you want. If there are certain ones or blends you prefer, use them in place of the ones in some of the recipes below.
  • Man foot careTake a foot bath with epsom or sea salts and scrub your feet. A good pumice stone helps a lot too. Soak for 20 minutes. Rinse and dry off feet. Then put about 2-5 drops of the essential oil(s) of choice into 1/2 teaspoon carrier oil and massage into feet.
  • Keep your toenails trimmed. Just do it. It’s better for your feet, not to mention your socks. And the last thing you want is to have a good cuddle ruined when you scratch your significant other with your raggedy toenails.
  • Athlete’s foot needs some good care. Tea Tree is the absolute best for that.

Always test on a small part of your skin first before using all over your feet. Please be sure your skin can handle the blend before being covered in it.
